Registration is required if you plan to post new topics or reply to existing topics. Registration is free and you are not required to post your real name. You are required to register using your actual email address, however. You don't need to reveal your email address publically, be aware that nobody can contact you via email if you do this. Review the information about your profile for other important considerations.

For membership on El Camino Central: The answer is no, but preferrable. Anyone who knows and appreciates GM vechicles is welcome to participate. For Membership in The National El Camino Owner's Association (NECOA), the answer is yes.

You may easily change any info stored in your registration profile, using the "Your Account" link located in the Menu sidebox near the top left of each page. Choose the "Change your Info" icon at the top of your account page. Identify yourself by typing your username and password and all of your profile information will appear on screen. You may change any items, except your username. Also notice that this message board is modified to accomodate a personal avatar. You may choose an exsiting avatar from the list or upload a custom file at the bottom of this page if you choose. If you leave it blank, it'll be displayed as a blank box in the "member list" page. If you spoof something, the addage "Garbage in/Garbage out" comes into play. IF you list your location as "HELL", when you actually live in Texas - you won't appear on the member list as someone being in Texas. Of course, you are not required to list your real location, and you will be displayed as being in hell when someone lists out locations beginning with "H". Just be aware of this when entering in your profile information.
