You said it yourself ~~ Have it looked at, something is wrong, and when something is wrong and not repaired, it always leads to BIGGER and COSTLIER issues.
Just my thoughts on the matter. |

I concure with what Jim has said. I would look for an exhaust leak, exhaust manifold gasket or maybe the doughnut at the header pipe.
That would be the the first area of inspection. |

Some things to check
Check for air leaks. Make sure carburetor and manifold gaskets seal properly. All outlets must be plugged or connected.

Just a guess mind you, but sounds like FLOAT ISSUES to me. That would be my first look. The boiling could be just air bleed as well, they can look very similar. Again ~~ A Guess.
