The 427 wasnt used in anything after 1969, except the tall deck blocks used in 1.5 ton trucks and up. They would have been 454 in 1974 unless they got some permission from NASCAR.

Haha, what cat convertor? Mines been gone for a couple years or more. Deisel oil still has what you need in it, Rotella T and Delo 400 are a couple examples you can still get at WalFart.

Actually, the 4th gen F bodies has the 7 5/8 rear end, not much difference and just as weak but its not the same 7.5 thats in the S10 trucks. Axles may be the same though. They should have kept the 8 ...
