| Can't seem to get the bushings on a new set of end links to compress enough to get the nut started. Should the car be jacked with the tires suspended or should the car be up on ramps for this repair?

Yes that's a good price...if it were the right part!
The tabs didn't line up unless I rotated the sending unit 180 degrees which would point the fuel line in the wrong direction...backwards..

I need to get it asap. Unless anyone thinks it'd be ok to re-use the old one and just replace the seal and fuel lines..
