pm Post subject: Heat wave
We are in a heat wave (90-100 degree temps) an my a/c is not as cold as I would like. I replaced to compressor, receiver/dryer, and orifice tube. The system blows cool but not cold. On days like today it is unbearable. Any advice on how to bring the temperature down. Also my fan belt is loose when compressor cycles on. I can tighten it up a little, but I thought it was bad to put too much pressure on fan belts going to the water pump pulley, any advice?

There are numerous reasons, or possabilites. It would only be guessing to suggest any one of them. Without history, time lines, type of system, it would be a flip of the coin as they say. Your best bet, IMHO, would be to take it in, have the system checked by an A/C shop. It would save you time, aggrevation, and most likely $$$$$$. _________________ Keep the Shiney Side Up
