FIRST< I want to thank the staff for all their work in keeping this website up and running.
Next, maybe someone knows why it takes my computer such a long time to open a new page. It takes so long that usually, I've already forgotten what page I was trying to open. Oh yeah, I do have a DSL connection, and it's only ECC that's this way. Help. _________________ lonestarjarhead

I'm sure Robert is working on this issue. As you may or may not be aware, E.C.C. was HACKED TWICE this past week. Robert has done an OUTSTANDING job in getting it back up and running in as short of time that he has. I'm sure also that the issue with the loading speed of the site is just ONE of MANY issues that Robert must be addressing. I trust he will have these issues resolved in a very short period of time. Think how you would be ageing waiting for a page to load if you were on a DIAL-UP. Never mind that, you might not live long enough to see it finally load. lol _________________ http://elcaminocentral.com/gallery-album_CoyoteOn2s77Cage.html

Thanks to all the folks who work on this website, it is greatly appreciated!
I have the same issue, slow load pages and I loaded 20 pic's of my '87 to the 5th Gen gallery yesterday which took over two hours to download.
I have cable broad band and have no problems with other sites at all. Is this something on my end or is it from the ECC server/connection? Just want to make sure that it is nothing I can correct?
Let me know.

After the last time the site was hacked I think Robert enabled a few things to help stop it from happening again, I think though that the changes are causing some of the problems with speed. I would rather have the site a little slow then have it crashed by a hacker. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS
