Up for sale is a never mounted and hardly left its box fiberglass cowl hood scoop. Has for blots on the bottom to bolt on to whatever hood or you can mold it on if you have that kind of skill. Originally bought for my 76 with her flat hood, but then I got the 70 with her cowl hood. I'd like to get like $50 out of it, since I paid a little over 100 for it, but I'll take a reasonable offer. It's got louvers in it that can either be left as they are, filled in if you hate them, or cut out and maybe covered with metal mesh or something so they can breathe into the engine bay (this is what I intended to do). Also the cowl end is open, so if you cut a hole into your hood then it will breathe into it. Contact me at j_torres06@hotmail.com if you want more info or photos. Thanks,
-Jonathan

No prob. If anyone is interested this is still up. The dimensions are 37 inches from the front tip to the back edge, 27 inches at the widest part(the back), and the cowl is a 2 inch rise from where it would be mounted on the hood.

There's 2 bolts up front in i guess what you would call the "corners" if it were rectangular, and two more right in front of the louvers, one on each side.

As for your four inch Anthony, I'm not sure if you were asking me or Dave, but I have a 4 inch cowl glass hood waiting in the shed until I get around to body so I'm good.

i would like to have it but it looks like it may be made for a flat hood ..my 85 has a crease in the middle of the hood...let me think on it ...its been cold here and snowing so i havent been able to get a look at my hood to see what mods i will need to make the scoop work and look good...

I see the dilemma. Well the bolts are around the outside so it might bend over it a little to settle. If not you could probably just fill int he cracks. Would look better that way IMO anyway. But I'm guessing you don't want to go through that kind of work. Lemme know.
