Looking to buy new seat cover for my 70 elky, and i keep finding that the bench seat can have either springs in the back or not. I checked my seat, i can't feel any springs in the back. Are they obvious if there is? Hate to order new seat covers just to get the wrong ones....

Thanks!

If you can feel the springs in the seat, the upholsterer didn't do a good job. If there is any doubt strip the cover off and look under the padding.
I have actually never had a 70 seat apart so with out having one in front of me I can't really tell you how but they are usually not to difficult to roll the bottom up far enough to see how it is made.
