Just wanted to be the 1st in the region to post a 2008 car show invitation. This is a great show, attended by a dozen or more Elkys split into 2 classes (stock and modified). RI Chevy Owners Assn. http://ricoa.org/ sponsors it. 300 to 400 Chevys usually (for the 3 years I've been).
Will post a flier for the show as soon as it's available.
This is 3-1/2 months away. Crank 'Em Up! Blow out the Cobwebs. Dust them off and give Premonition I and Premonition II both a decent run for their money this year! _________________ 70 Elky (Non-SS) 454CID, TH700-R4

And just what are you trying to say Mr. Nunn ?????? Are you trying to say Tommy's taking all your trophies? Cause he is... And I hear tell that it's you and Ernie taking all the Ma. trophies. That leaves very few left for us 'little' guys.

Anyone who doesn't know you two clowns might think you were serious...
Speaking of serious -- let's all pray for GOOD WEATHER for that All Chevy Show in RI....
And SERIOUSLY Garry - I can't wait for all these guys to see your Elky - AND Garry why dont you bring your Camaro too -- I, for one, would really love to see it !
It would be nice to see you too Garry - HAHA
Ahhh yes Tommy, I try my darndest not to be serious. And perhaps your right about being taken seriously by some, hope not. Maybe I should tone down my 'agitating' just a notch and go back to my normal, loving, caring, sharing self, just in case. Yeah right !!!!! I'm with you Tom on the weather and the Chevy show, also seeing Garry's and a couple of the new members and rides. Consider the fingers crossed. Later guys
Thanks for the info Mike. You can count on me this year. Can't wait to meet the rest of the "guys".I will pass the word again, I am going out to Indiana in a week or two to pick up my donor car and the guy has a 70 E.C. he is parting out anyone need anything off it let me know. _________________ As a first timer I am taking a beating on this thing but I AM going to finish my first.

I'd like to take the Camaro as well but not sure what the price is going to be for VP C12 racing gas this year???
the car gets 4 mpg on a good day.
Ok now whats with all the posts about the weather? I'm guessing the show has seen some rain in the past??
Look forword to meeting you guys...

Nice graphic Gary. Neat.
I just checked the various websites, no Chevy Show flier yet.
Sounds like we've got a good crowd brewing for this one. If it's layed out like last year, there's about 100 to 150 feet of frontage. Get there early or risk being in a second row. (behind me )
Seriously, the more the merrier. Great time to meet new members and catch up with the others. Let's make this one our best showing ever. _________________ 70 Elky (Non-SS) 454CID, TH700-R4
