Thanks Ernie.

Just notice there's also a small one on Sunday 27 April there next to you at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Richmond RI. I've never been, but a few friends have and said it was okay, but small. Saw the ad on www.cruisinbruce.com

I went to it a few times but it only took 20-30 minutes to see everything. It's not worth the admission price in my opinion. The car show is a bit lame also.

Ernie,

I hear tell that if the weather's nice there'll be three 3rd generation Elkys there at this show next Sunday. 'Think I could shame you into bringing an award winning 5th Gen just to show us all up (especially since it's in your own back yard)?

Mike

OK Mike. I'll be there, as long as there is good weather. My El Camino is up on jack stands right now as I was preparing to swap in a 3.73 posi that I've been refurbishing. But I'll put the wheels back on and bring it. Do you want to have all of us enter the show together? I'll give you a call tomorrow night to discuss it.

Gee Ernie, that's great.

Would love to see you and the car and catch up on things.

One caveat though......

Sunday's weather will tell all. Not that my car's allergic to rain, but if it looks rainy that day, I'll be staying home and polishing chrome instead. And my bet is Mark and most others will too.

Assuming clear weather, I think Bill (red 68 BBC Elky) is planning to arrive fairly early. Mark (if he comes) and I plan to drive together and probably will arrive there between 9 and 10AM. Rich (lcamino) will be coming in his 65 Impala (Elky's in paint). Talk to you tomorrow.

Mike

Yeah Mike, I'm getting all the same forecasts from several of them. Unless that jet stream does a last minute wiggle, I think it's a wash for me. Just too damn much effort (for me at least) getting them all purty. There's a few shows in May, at least 2 in RI, so we'll all line up behind the Red Ruby....

Tomorrow is the 1st day of the Mansfield Mass. (Tweeter Center) Swap Meet. With the rain forecasted, I'm guessing it's either cancelled or will be poorly attended. I'm staying home. Any brave soul(s) going?

I just got home from the S.S.A.A.C. Trading Bee at the Tweeter Center.
I got there at 7:00 AM. There was a little rain drizzle when I arrived but it stopped by 7:30. It was a pretty big swap meet and was spread out over three parking lots. I picked up a 5th gen center console, some tools, a can of POR15, a couple of XBOX games, and my new bumpers.

But tools are always good

Pray for good weather and I will see you in Lee NH on Friday

Thanks Tom. If all goes well I'll have them on for the trip to NH Friday. I'm installing a brand new set of tail lights too.

Like it really needs them.....

Regarding the bumper. Might it by chance have been for a 70?
