One of the techs at my work seems to think the Ten-Bolt in my '82 is already a posi. Anybody know for sure or have a resource where i can look it up?

an easy way is to see if both wheels spin the same way when you turn one. the only other way i know is take the cover off and look for the springs in the carrier it may have a full spool or even a mini spool also. not sure where to look for the info at.

...The diff is not in the car. It's also completely unmolested. Can anybody tell me if they came with posis stock?

Find the numbers and letters stamped on the front of the passenger side axle tube. Post them here and we'll tell you what it is.
