Just found this site and its great!
I have a 1987 Camino with 311,000 miles. Its my daily driver since 1992 when I bought it with 49,000. Last year I had it repainted the original 2 tone dark blue over light and installed a new tonneau cover. In the fall I "restored" the rally wheels. Its got everything except buckets and rear window defroster - was a rear defroster available?
Anyway, I live in Desert Hills which is north of Phoenix just south of Anthem. I don't bring the car to any shows, but I do take my 1966 GTO out. At the next show I'll look for you other El Camino owners.

Welcome! Nice mix, Elky and a GTO.
I'm over in the MESA area but that's temporary. There's a decent number of Zonies on the site and even news of a local event here and there. Enjoy!

Hi Jayt, James, Tony and Sara,
I hope all of you are enjoying the great AZ weather. There are 2 car shows TODAY that I'll be going to, both on the South end. If you are looking for a show today I'll be at Riggs Rd. & Dobson from about 9:00 to noon and the other show is at Arizona Ave. & Ocotillo. That one runs about 1:00 to 5:00. Aterwards I'm off to L.A. for a week and I'll miss next weekends shows
So that is where things are happening today, as always the Scottsdale Pavillions has the Saturday Night cruise, if you haven't been there they usually always have 150 to 200 cars.
