Hello again.
As the engine is ordered and being built I have started looking for oil pans that will fit with out notching the cross member. I have e-mailed John B to try to get one of his oil pans but he is not in county and can not help. He did however tell me that a Cadillac CTS-V oil pan should fit. Now I have an alternative and they want 500$ for a custom oil-pan, so as you can guess I need to go with one or the other.
Is 500$ a lot for a custom oil-pan or will a new CTS-V oil pan cost more, does any one know of a cheaper place to buy one???

You might check with http://www.hotrodlane.cc/ but I normally they are not cheap. But they were one of the first to modify the oil pan. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS

Thanks for the tip Poltergiest
I ended up geting a cts-v oil pan for 375$ and to solve the problem with the manifolds i got a set of custom headers.
I hope the caddy pan works as well as people say it should, in a week or two we will find out.

Post up how well it works. I had not heard about using the CTS-V pan. Might need the info for the next project.... once I figure out what it's going to be. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS
