My BMW stops better than my 1970 ss 454.....OK so perhaps I'm expecting to much, has anyone converted their brakes front or backs and what was the increase in stopping power, that 454 sure goes fast but I can't help but feel like I going to run into the back of someone!

I just had this conversation with Acuth1 yesterday. You can upgrade your rear brakes to disc brakes -and the conversion is relatively simple. Stainless Steel Brakes Corp sells a killler set up for my 85---comes complete with rotors calipers stainless lines, shields and all the hardware to do the job. Best of all it bolts on!!!!They are single caliper pistons so you should not have to change your master cylinder-------check out their web-site http://www.ssbrakes.com/ they should be able to help---cost complete-is approx $800.00

For the fronts you could get all you need from later car. I'd get everything from the spindles on out.
