Im planning to stoke out the lt1 motor out of a 96 camaro that im swapping into my mino. I wanted to know if I have to change anything on my efi to keep up with the upgrade of the stoke. Change meaning injectors, throttle body, etc. I was going to go with the ls1 first but dont feel like waiting 5 months for a engine swap

Stock throttle body and injectors should be fine (unless you're going to get real radical with the cam). You'll have to have the motor tuned to get your air/fuel ratio right.

If your fuel injection uses a mass air flow sensor, it should just read the amount of air you're pumping in and compute the right amount of fuel. Fuel injectors have plenty of capacity, unless you get wild with cam, as Poltergeist said.

But if your fuel injection is a speed density system (no mass air flow sensor) you'll need to recalibrate the computer for the increased displacement.

Why don't you hook up with Corvino here on the board and see what he had done. He just posted some nice pics of a LT-4 383.
Good luck!

Thanks hawaii...

My motor started out as a 1995 corvette LT1. I have done every possible thing to this motor, including the LT4 intake manifold and the 58 MM throttle body. As of now, I am leaving the injectors stock but upgrading the fuel pump. My motor builder thinks the injectors will be suffice but said its not too hard to change them out if they are dragging my performance down.

One of the most important aspects of the build is a good tune. A few threads down are pics of my 383. Enjoy!
