I met with the track management last night and they gave me the tickets for all cars and drivers. Also tickets for guests at only $5 each.
Event is only one week away -- next Friday, May 16. I will plan to meet as many of you as can do so at the Friendly's Restaurant in Haverhill MA, just off Interstate 495 at Route 125 North. This Friendly's is just three blocks up from the exit ramp. I will be there at 4:00 p.m. and hopefully we can leave in a caravan at 4:30 to arrive at track at 5:00.
For those who come from other directions, or will be arriving later, just see me at the ticket booth for your free pass. For planning purposes, call me at 978-852-7598 or email me if you are expecting to join us.

Less than a week til our el Camino event at Lee Speedway in NH ---
I am getting excited about this but I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to John Harris for setting it up with the speedway people.
What a great way to kick off the season and get together with a bunch of Elky guys without the bother of spending two days polishing chrome - first !
By the way if any of you see a guy who looks just like me but with hair - don't jump to the conclusion that I got a hair transplant over the winter... my son got real excited about this too and he too is taking half a day off on Friday to come up there with me.
I know that John has heard from a decent group of people about making the trip but I am hoping that more of you will fall in behind the Pace Car and take a few laps with us

Hi John; my son and I hope to make it to the lee spdway event; if so we'll try and meet everyone at friendlys. hope to see then in our 79 elky; John sr. & jr. _________________ enjoying the sound and feel of American muscle!
Looks like we've got about a dozen members who have confirmed they are coming to Lee USA Speedway this Friday night, and hopefully a few more who haven't contacted me yet.
The weather report looks good so far, but since this is New England, we have to consider a change in weather. The track management has agreed to contact me at noon on Friday to confirm whether they will run that evening or cancel. I will post that info on this thread right away and also send an email message to everyone who has contacted me. You can also reach me via cell phone on Friday: (978) 852-7598
Those of you who are coming from the south and west up Interstate 495, from Massachusetts and Rhode Island, will meet at Friendly's Restaurant at 1160 Main Street, in Haverhill, MA. That is on MA Route 125 North, 3 blocks from the 495 off-ramp that says "Plaistow, NH." We will depart from Friendly's at 4:30 p.m.
Please come even if you haven't registered with me, and bring along a friend for the fun! _________________ View my El Camino

Hi John,
Gotta leave that "update" on Lee to John Harris ----
however check the Region 2 Forum for RICOA - The all Chevy Show at Diamond Hill Park in Cumberland, RI on Sunday 6/29.
I know that thread seems dormant but it will pick-up again now with only 2 weeks till that Show - many of us have done that show for the past few years and it is a real good show - we came very close to making best club there last year.
Cumberland is not far from the Attleboro exit on Rt 95 in Mass probably 15 minutes from the state line - you should try to make it.
Mike Nunn -- HELLO - if you have a flyer would you post it and directions would be nice for us - out of state - foreigners. --Thanks Mike
