Yeah, me too...

But I bet the wallet wouldn't..

Things are so bad out there that we'll be lucky to afford
gas let alone upgrades if all this economy stuff doesn't sort out...

Still, it's nice to dream...

Smile

I'm actually not too impressed. For that price, you could have a very nice built 383 or 406 and get the same, if not better numbers naturally aspirated. If you want the sex appeal of a supercharger that's cool, but it could be better for the price

It actually looks like they bought the cheapest goodwrench motor they could find, and slapped on a SC to make money.

If my 355 doesn't lay down 383HP I'm gonna put some NAAAAWWWWWZZZZZ on it.

Not too surprising. They're offering a supercharged engine kit that they know will stay together for 95% of the people who buy it like the street rod guys and such. They don't want to go too radical for 5 grand anyway. The supercharger and intake setup is likely 75% of the cost anyway.

Also don't forget that they're using a crate motor with a 650CFM carb. That's a mild combination and probably meant to be a starting point for more power later. Note they void the Crate motor warranty right up front too. This combo will likely not do any harm but they know people are going to juice it up later.

I didn't bother to see what shipping would add to the cost...

Cool
