Worn Motor Mounts are the cause of most Header Clearance Issues. NOT ALL, Just most.

In my case, motor mounts are new. There seems to be plenty of space between the Flow Tech headers and the engine that they could have done a better design job at flow Tech.

Well at first I was not impressed with the Dyno Max headers I bought, I guess now I am, and they are the 1 5/8 with 3 in collectors. Mine fit right in, no hammering anything, anywhere. I did have to modify the P/S, A/C bracket and I moved the oil pressure sensor up to the top by the dist but thats it. Well I do have a mini starter, never tried a factory one. One thing I'll do next time is get the creamic coated tho.
