My trans would leak if it sat too long then after sitting for about a month finally dumped a bunch. Went to pull the stick, tube came with lol!!! Haven't got under it yet. Any chance it's the O ring only or do you think I will have to pull my trans.

Yea it's probably your o-ring. Replace it and try to wipe off as much of the trany as you can and then keep and eye on it and see if you can see where it's leaking from.
I kind of have the same problem with my 80. Every once in a while it will dump some fluid on the ground. I think mine might be the vent tube on top.
Keep us posted and let us know what you find.

Any word on what was wrong with your tranny? I think my 71 just developed the same problem... Yer help would be very appreciated.
