pm Post subject: Wheel tire sizing???79 ElCamino
Working on a 79 ElCamino. It came with some radically negative offset Prime wheels when we got it. Wore the tires out and put 15x7 Camaro aluminum wheels, 3rd. gen. Camaro, with 225/70/15 tires. Wheels hit the upper control arms on bumps, tires rub on deep turns. Cleaned up control arms and balanced tires with weights only on outside and have now worn those tires out. Time to do something different, on a budget of course.
What I have now is a set of 3rd. gen Camaro steel Rally wheels, these are 14x7". Anyone running wheels this size and if you are what tire size will fit?
