My first wheels at age 16 was a 74 El Camino and having sold it in college to pay tuition, it's been a long time coming in getting to a time I could own another. Just got myself a 1981 model with a new 350 bored by a local shop, Flowmaster exhaust, Edelbrock torquer intake, Sportsman 2 heads, 750 Edelbrock carb, Flow Tech headers and B&M stall converter.. whew, that's all a mouthful.
Anyway, I've been a member here for a few years as I've kept my eye open and it took finding an Elky right down my street before pulling the trigger.
Let the good times roll.
Well, welcome back JJ. Don't think I have to say enjoy that baby, sounds like you got that going good.... _________________ Mark
