Can anybody make any suggestions as to where I could buy a Sports Steering Wheel for my 4th Gen?

I am looking for a wheel which is smaller diameter, preferably leather covered and a Bowtie emblem horn button.

In all my searching I found a reasonable wheel at OPGI priced around US$165, but that is vinyl covered.

Suggestions welcomed and appreciated. Smile

If you could find a steering wheel in good shape from a 74 to 81 Camaro you might find it a good fit. I know I looked at a few 5th gens that came with the exact same wheel (except for the center emblem) as the 2nd generation camaros.

Try Lecarra.com. They have what your looking for. You have a choice of 13 different leather colors. I called customer service about a color because what you see in their catalog could be decieving. In 2 days I had a sample in my hands. Shop around because a few vendors carry Lecarra. I bought my steering wheel, adapter and Bowtie horn button from Honest Charlies, one of this sites sponsors. He gives members 10% when you mention Elcamino Central and give them your member number.

John,One more thing, Honest Charlies only shows a couple of colors. I told them which one I wanted from Lecarras' catalog and they ordered it from Lecarra. It was shipped directly from Lecarra.

Thanks for replying with option mates.

I checked out the Grant catalog and there maybe an option in there. I like the Formula GT but it doesn't stand out that the Bowtie horn button is suitable.

Lecarra also have a Formula GT wheel which looks the same but does not have the holes.

I will continue to research what is best for me and report back.

I received my Grant Steering Wheel yesterday and fitted it the same day. Ended up getting it from a local eBay trader for A$149 plus $20 shipping.

Here is the new wheel

Looks real good John, Glad you found what you were looking for, I've gotten quite a few for cars at the shop from Grant. They seem to always have what my Customers like.
