Hi, I recently bought a '86 Elky with a stock 305. I noticed that it can take a very long time to heat up-I never see the temp gauge move past the first mark on the gauge (200 degrees F I think), and rarely even that high. Is this a normal operating range for the engine, or do I have a 1: stuck open thermostat, or 2: a 160 degree thermostat? Just wondering before I crack open the thermostat housing and replace my thermostat.
