I got mine from UMI; very strong boxed lowers that have the reinforced swaybar mount holes and on-the-car adjustable uppers. They have other designs. You can get the mounting plates that allow you to drop the lowers (at the axle housing end) as much as 3 inches. http://www.umiperformance.com/gbody I bought mount braces from Edelbrock and they have control arms too.
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/suspension/intro.shtml .
On higher horsepower cars the stress put on the control arm body mount points can rip 'em out.
I priced the Moser 9" Ford (made to fit the Gbody) and ran backwards!!
I think the complete assembly w/o brakes was about $2,500. So I started searching and found Quick Performance. http://www.quickperformance.com/
They make a housing to fit the GBody and offer brakes; I bought the 11" drums. If you call them and ask about his friend down the road who rebuilds center sections, he can put together the whole pumpkin with gears of your choice and advise you on the Ford positrac systems (more than one). And I got the Yukon billet posi housing which solves some issues with the stock Ford unit.(I don't remember all the Ford names for their posi units..Trac Loc, etc.)
I bought the axles from Moser and assembled all of it myself and spent about $1,700.
Mine is a street car/ drag/Bonneville vehicle so you may need different components, but these are all sources that met my quality and price demands.
