Hi Fellas - I have a 1986 which just got banged up in the back a little bit. It has original paint which consists of a metallic grey top and bottom with a lighter silver or perhaps grey in the middle and hood. Any chance someone knows the paint codes for this. Thanks in advance. - Bob

The upper and lower color is Medium Gray Metallic (15). The middle color is Silver Metallic (12).

Hi Bob, Sorry to hear about your damage and I hope it is minimal. If you are interested I have a El Camino dealer`s brochure from 1987 if you would be interested in looking at it. It does not give specific paint code numbers, but it shows interior and exterior choices, photos , options and other info. I purchased it off ebay a few years ago. They are very hard to find. If you are interested and promise to mail it back, I will be happy to send it to you if you send me your address through email or a PM.

Thanks guys. While trying to run this info down I got in touch with Phillip Swartz who owns Bethany Kars that pretty much specializes in El Caminos and he gave me this link to GM paint codes. I changed the 1985 to a 1986 and got some good information.

Also, Lenny, I'd like to see that brochure.
but don't mail it, just bring it to the next get together. Now that I finally got the interior installed maybe I'll finally be able to show up. I've been upset at missing Mount Dora and also the Kissimmee get-together. Is anything in the works right now?

Also Phoenix Graphix had all the stickers or decals I needed.

Bob, I don`t know of anything scheduled right now. I`m sure some are attending activities in their area. Check Region 6, Fl. forums.
