This is how everthing looks when you take it off. Lots of scale and pitting. Just the steering linkage took a whole day to clean paint and reinstall. On a bright note I guess it will be several pounds lighter:)

I live in Dallas Texas, The forecast? 104 Saturday, I do HVAC / air conditioning for a living. You can't touch anything thats been in the sun. So my big weekend plan is to stay COOL. and hope I don,t get any emergency calls.
I want very badly to work on my 68 but I've put in like 70+ hours this week, all of them Hot!
This year was the paint and body, next year A/C. It's not fun to even drive in 100+ temps without it.
So I'll be chillin in Dallas
Donny

Got both of the window frames cleaned and painted up with POR-15. New clips for the trim.

Removing the funky blue tint from the rear window, may have to find a new one later a lot of tiny scratch's on this one.

Filled three dents, sanded of the surface rust and primed good enough for now. Also made a new wiring harness from the cab area to the back. Repaired rear harness and checked everything, it all worked! Shocked
