Well I also bought mine on Philadelphia craigslist for 7500. The car had litte to no rust, but nothing bad at all. The car ran great and had no problem at all. I payed a little more since it was the first El Camino that I found that had no rot underneath. Most of the Elky I found in Northeast Philadelphia on craigslist was just crap so paying more for a good one was great. Every one love my Elky and it starting to come together. Hopeful I will have it ready for carlie next year.

I sold my 74 that I had owned for 15 years on Craigslist. I put 160,000 miles on it, I had put a crate motor in it 3 years before I sold it. I think the guy that bought it just wanted it for the drive trane (the rest of the truck was wore out) anyway he called the next day saying he thought the batterie was bad, He gave me $1000.00 for it so I offered to give $100.00 to the church and return his other $900.00 back for it. HE decided to keep it. Never heard anything else although I do catch myself looking over ads on Craigslist for 74 ELKO'S to see if it comes back up.
