There are several good headers made now . The flange thickness is very important to me because if the flange where the header bolts to the heads is too thin it will warp when it gets hot and will develope a leak very quickly . I dont know if you are looking for a good performance upgrade header or just more for looks but I got a nice set of HEDMAN headers with full length 1 3/4 inch primary tubes and a 3 1/2 inch collector from Summit but I have a 406 SBC full roller making almost 700 Horsepower so you might not want something so wild . I would suggest you decide what you want from your headers . Looks or Performance or both and go from there . You can look on Jegs.com and Summitracing.com to get an idea of whats available for your application . I have a guy that I have bought tons of parts from over the years and he is usually cheaper than either place . The place is called Skip White Performance . If you wanna call them they have an excellent technical advisor to help you decide which headers would be best for your car . The phone # is (423) 722-5152 and be sure to ask for Travis . He knows his stuff and will give you discounts on parts . They also have tons of other chrome acessories to dress up your engine and thier prices are unbelievable . Good luck !!

Zach
They do have a website but I am not exactly what it is . I usually just look on Ebay and find something I like and then call Travis . Call him man he will hook you up and give you the right advice and a great product and a great price . They ship nationwide also . If you buy more than one item they give you half off the shipping on the second, third, fourth, fifth etc,etc items .
Unfortunately if you want chrome headers that wont change colors after a while they will cost you a small fortune and then they still change colors but it takes a little longer . The chorome headers all turn yellow or gold or several different colors like stated earlier .

Check into CERAMIC coated Headers, you can get them in a Chrome Finish, and they won't discolor if you take care of them properly. Just a thought, if the chrome look is what your after. Headman and Hooker both offer them. They'll last you many years.

Like posted above, ceramic coated headers are great. I actually have a set of flowtech ceramic coarted on mine. That way you dont have to get insulation for your headers. _________________ The Blue Beast

Just today my brother and I installed a set of SummitRacing ceramic long tube headers and FlowMaster 2-1/2" exhaust to the rear on my '72. With a stock (not for long) 350, it sounds incredible!!! Just the sound I had hoped for. _________________ Just acquired bone stock survivor, but that will change.
