Has anyone installed remote door lock/entry on a 5th Gen? What can you tell me about it (Do's & Don'ts, Pain in the neck or other) and where did you get the kit or recommend? Cool

not sure about how bad switching over is, but on my mercury everything is power, and one lock stopped working and all the window motors could use replacing.

on the Camino one thing i looked for was manual windows/locks for the simple fact that your arm doesn't go bad! It's just a thought when switching to power that it is more parts moving, and more things to go wrong. (more molah to spend)

Good luck with the switchover though! i'd like to know how it goes! Smile

Take a look at my photobucket set
http://s284.photobucket.com/albums/ll26/elcamino85/
The guy who did the door poppers got'em from a junkyard, it took us one our to install both doors.
When I got my new alarm, the following week, they made the buttons of the alarm work with the doors.
