Just like walking into a Chevrolet dealership, going to the parts counter and asking for a Hood Latch Release cable set….
ORIGINAL NOS Hood release cable set in the original boxes. This is a two piece set. GR. 8.075 PN 328919 is the Cable Assy., Hood Latch Release. And GR. 8.075 PN 9611970 is the Hood Latch Release Rear cable. Only taken out of the boxes to take pictures.
Cables slide perfect. Very smooth operation. No kinks. Cable sheathing looks awesome.
If you have a ’73 El Camino, Chevelle, or GMC Sprint, you know that these two cables should be replaced as a pair.
NOS does NOT mean a perfect item for your show car. NOS PARTS can have shelf wear over the years. That being said, these are in excellent shape. They have been in storage for years, Never Used or Installed. A Must Have for a Correct Restoration. An original cable set you would not expect to find...nice!!! It is NOS GM and has been discontinued.
$45.00 plus shipping. Paypal preferred. Email
jlevitan@holycross.edu and please put something about "El Camino" in the subject to get by spam filters. _________________ JW - NECOA #768 2011 El Camino SS - http://elcaminocentral.com/users/a73elkyss/.
Watch for the 6th gen Elco's
Hi John. Yes, I'd love to be back in the hobby. Can't swing another one for the foreseeable future though. Priorities in life seem to shift.
I feel very lucky and fortunate to have been able to have owned two of my favorite El Camino's. A '72 and a '73 SS. I've seen both of them at shows and around town. The new owners have taken them to a higher level and show true pride in ownership.
I still feel that "need for speed" and keep my eye on the hobby.
