I have an edelbrock 1400 carb on my elky. I've had it installed now for about 6 months, but I just noticed a mysterious nipple/inlet on the passenger side of the carb inbetween the coil for the electric choke and the inlet fitting for the fuel line. Can someone tell me what this is for? I've watched the installation video and read the manual, but they talk about the 1406 carb, so now I am wondering if this may be causing some sort of vaccume leak. Thanks in advance, any info is appreciated!

Hmm did a little searching and found out its a vapor canister vent, so now my question is since I dont have a vapor canister should it be plugged and what problems might it cause without it plugged?
