Where can I look for a new sending unit for my '84 Elky.
I need to get it asap. Unless anyone thinks it'd be ok to re-use the old one and just replace the seal and fuel lines..
Any thoughts or recomendations?
Thanks!!

If it worked reuse the one you have. Just get a new seal and check your connections for any corrosion. Might put a new screen on it while you have it apart.

The el camino store has them in stock. They cost about 80-100 bucks depending on the size of your fuel tank. If your old sending unit is still functioning and reads your fuel amount correctly then I would say yes you can reuse it. The only problem I have had with them is the filter that is placed on them always seems to be cracked and no longer functional. Again you can but this part from the el caminon store for $12 plus shipping.
