I have been hearing about this for a long time and will finally make a pilgramage to this one. Last year 5195 vehicles were registered, 4000 swap meet spaces and a huge car corral. For 2008 open to all show quality vehicles thru 1979,exceptions for 1980 and up by preregistration only; if they meet custom criteria listed on the website. Go to www.turkeyrun.com for lots of info and photos. I just received my acceptance card in the mail from them and the website also lists the names of people registered to date. I plan to be there Thur. before the crowd starts showing up and will stay till Sun. as I hear there are so many things to see and do. If you do not register a vehicle, spectator admission is $15 for Thur., Fri., Sat. $10 for Sun. Anyone else interested? _________________ A good friend will come and bail you out of jail.A true friend is sitting next to you saying " Damn, wasn`t that fun" !

I thought you had plans to be out of town. That's awesome! I'd like to go, and think I can make it. My Elco is down awaiting the return of my headers that were sent to the shop to get ceramic coated. I'm also waiting on some chrome to come back from Cali.
If all that falls into place I can be there in the Elco. If it doesn't I'll have to wait till next time or bring the SS.
How have you been? I got your message. Thanks for calling. _________________ Dropped Fullsize

Hey Juan, Glad to hear you may be able to come. If you are interested in showing your 82, remember you have to contact the Turkey Run people and ask for a waiver as your ride is newer than 1979 .Go to the website, www.turkeyrun.com , click on registration and it will describe the criteria and you email two photos. I just got my invitation in the mail a few days ago. Each Thanksgiving we have a big get together here in Key West. Family and friends come as well a those that have moved away. I told them this year is Turkey Run for me. As of Oct. 8, 20 El Caminos have preregistered. More later. _________________ A good friend will come and bail you out of jail.A true friend is sitting next to you saying " Damn, wasn`t that fun" !
