A/C almost finished.......installed the trinary Switch -----this is a must and made to protect your AC compressor from running when the refrigerant pressure is either too high or too low.........wanted to insert in the new custom lines, and, could not find a fitting that we could weld in line---the custom shop welded seveal pieces together to get the trinary to fit ----------hopefully will wire in over the next week or so.....more to come....
Very nice Pete, where did you end of getting those fittngs you were needing? _________________ El Camino Central Founder/AdministratorAuto A/C & Electrical Shop Owner, ASE Master
Good to hear from you ---the problem is as follows----GM fiitings --if you want to use stock components it is a # 12---the problem is that aeroquip does not make, nor could I find anyone else who does, a fitting that will be male O ring stepping down from a #12 to a #10----what we did was buy a steel 45 degree fitting #12--cut it in half -and graft it to a 45 degree aerquip- which we also cut in half and ground the nickel plate off----had to butt weld the two pieces together----and what you see is the finished product------
