I have an 82 El Camino with a 10 bolt rear end. I was told it had 4.11 gears and posi. I know for sure that it is not posi, and not sure about the gears. I am wanting to make it posi and I was wondering if a 1970's Nova rear end would go right in? What would be the best way of going about making it posi?

Nova rear end will not bolt in. You need to find out if you have the stock 7.5" 10 bolt or if its been changed to the Grand National 8.5" 10 bolt. That would be a nice upgrade if it were. You have the choice of having your rear end rebuilt or finding one from another "G" body. These would be 78-88 Monte Carlos, Buick Regals, Olds Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prixs.
