Replaced my fuel filter last weekend and discovered that the spring inside the casing was missing. I can't seem to find it, does anyone know what the part number is and where I could find the spring?
if its the little brass fuel filter thats at the end of the line in the carb its really not that necessary it wont chang a thing its porpose is let fuel bypass around the filter IF its cloged so you dont get stuck some where b/c of a cloged filter. as far as geting the spring hit up a carb shop that might help _________________

Not sure where you can get one, but the spring holds the filter in place against the inlet to the needle valve. _________________ Jim
