With an LS based motor more power is not a problem. There are heads/cam packages galore for that extra kick. And do some tuning on the ECM you can pull a lot more from it.

More power?! THATS ENOUGH but its just 61hp more than the v6 Camaro soon to be released as well! THATS SCARY a v6 with 300hp in a Camaro! BUt yeah it'll be a nice car I see a couple G8's running around my town and the people seem to enjoy them so it should be no problem for a G8 to be sold here in the Central Valley of California!

Guys... with car sales lagging... I am kind of scared we will only get a few years of production before they axe it. Sales will likely be down due to the economy Sad

I like it! But im not impresed with the hp the mopar srt8 6.1 put out 420 hp the GM 6.0 only puts out 361. None the less its a sweet ride.
