Well I looked at the drivers door vs the passenger door today and on the bottom side I noticed that the door skin on the driver side seems to have come apart at the little spot welds. The passenger door is just fine. Can these be spot welded or are they tac welded or is there a difference? Think I'm probably going to give it a whack if it's just a little zip zip job with a mig welder. Just hard to believe one side would do it and the other is good to go... There isn't any rust down there either. Just good clean metal... Weird!!!!!!!!.... Thanks for your imputs.... Ugly Elco......

if its just loose welds, tacky, tacky, tacky [sorry small joke] just remember to put some primer on any bare metal ! i think the skin is partially glued and sometimes sloppy or missing glue causes this [that or a dozen other ways] if there are no other problems should be alright to tack weld with mig , grind , then prime !!
and remember there is no more important piece of eqipment than these !!SAFETY GLASSES!! _________________ 1964 buick skylark, my first car [finished]
