Who cares about that other election?? It's time to vote for the 2009 Calendar! Go to the Calendar submission area in the Member Cars gallery. There you will see the pictures moved to their respective galleries. The only place you need to vote is in the 3rd gen and 5th gen albums. The 1st gen, 2nd & 4th gens don't have enough to vote on.
You get 1 vote in each of the 3rd and 5th gens. Top winners in each generation will get put in the calendar. Decisions are final.
Good luck to everyone. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS
wow, i would have figured with all the nice cars on here, there would have been more submissions. i am kinda new here, so felt a bit unqualified to be throwing my offering in the ring. you do have some nice choices though. _________________ Rob Tabish

The only qualifications are that you submit a picture. Being new or from the beginning of the site doesn't matter. Just a love for our favorite car/truck....vehicle .
So long as every year we can all 5 generations in the calendar I'll be happy. Came close on the 4th gen this year though. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS

I should have took a picture yesterday before I washed her. It was raining so decided to do the cheap wash job. There was moss growing on the north side of the cowl hood! _________________ "Still Just Truck'in"

Poltergeist, Thanks again for the numerous emails you sent me in an effort to help me get my photos upsized enough for consideration in the calendar. I was surprized when I saw my 87 in the gallery ! I just learned that another member Skinyfisher took pity on my lack of computer skills and sent them in for me. Thanks to both of you . We all appreciate your efforts in getting the calendar published. _________________ A good friend will come and bail you out of jail.A true friend is sitting next to you saying " Damn, wasn`t that fun" !
Soon as I get my damaged paint fixed,I hope I will be able to participate in the calender in the year following. How is the selection of 12 cars made with so many excellent examples represented on this forum? _________________ '79 Chevy Corvette,350 sbc- '78 Olds Cutlass Supreme,350 sbo'- 99 Mitsubishi Galant,3.0 V6- '84 Chevy El Camino Conquista,305 sbc

Why submit photos? We went to all the trouble to get our galleries set up why not pull from there. If the photos need to be modified I'm sure we'd be happy to oblige.
Seems a little bit unfair to me.
An Elky Calendar without 4th Gens is really of no interest to me. In fact I didn't buy an Elky calendar from calendars.com last year because there were no 4th Gens in any of them I looked at.
I like the other generations, don't get me wrong, but Any El Camino Calendar should represent all the permutations and this site covers them all.

Did you! look at the voting board by Gen's there is only one 4th but that is one more than none and last year there were two 4th Gens in the calendar. The reason for submittal each years is an easy one, newer pics of only active cars as hundred of the gallery cars are sold or out of the hobby or who knows. On the other hand it is anyones choice to enter or buy the calendar.
As to why there are fewer 4th Gens entries would be the same question as why there are so few 1st and 2nd. One thing is for certain everyone will have there take on that and which one is the better. All I know is there all good and 13 pics in a book is better than none. _________________ "69" SS 396/350 HP with a stock outside, stock underside, stock inside and a splash of chrome and polish in the engine area.
