I bought a 1964 El Camino From a Dealer in Washington State Last Year. Its red on red--Buckets console saginaw original type 4SPD. car. Total resto done about 8 Years ago--Still very nice and VERY VERY CLEAN in all respects. Can any-one tell me HOW MANY of these Bucket Console Elkies were made ?? Just how rare is it--I have gotten everything from --They didn't make any to Less than 400 --PLease Help if You can--I must sell the Car and any info would be appreciated. That info will be a tough find, options are bundled with Chevelle numbers so I doubt you will be able to find out how many were El Caminos. But the console is rare to begin with, even on a Chevelle, especially with a 4spd..
An El Camino so equipped would be even that much more rare.
