new guy from tn. here
my name is ron paris and live in portland tn. i am picking up a 1978 ss on the 23rd with a bad tranny but it comes with a new one. he never had time to do the work and also has a spare 350 included in price.his son wanted a jeep and kicked the elky to the side and now i get all the fun.
i also own a 2005 pt cruiser that i go to rallys in.the elky will be my winter car till next spring when i will start restoring it back to original shape.always wanted an el camino as my dad had a 72ss and then a 74 that he used as work trucks, bought both off a local farmer 4 years apart.

well thats me.

Welcome to the forum Ron. Nothing like an El Camino getting kicked aside to be picked up by someone who appreciates it.

Welcome to ECC Ron.

My wife is mad keen on US Country music so we have visited your home city a few of times and always had a great time. Day trips to Jack Daniels and to the Corvette assembly plant and to Bardstown for the Bourbon. A top city for a visit for sure.

Well done on scoring your El Camino and good luck with getting it rolling.
