That I should have such a luxury! Mine will be on the road full-time cruising between Gretna and Omaha on I-80 until I bite the bullet, get the money saved for a down payment and buy a newer compact. Then I can get it to the frame/body shop (need recommendations where in Omaha/Gretna to go) and off the road. Until that time I have a pair of '60s Rally Wheels waiting to be painted so I can throw a set of snow tires on them.
So, when you see a silver/gunmetal gray '87 with a high-profile topper on it, complete with the buckled driver's quarter panel and messed-up tailgate/rear bumper, give a couple of quick toots on the horn. _________________ Alan H. Tast, AIA
