My El Camino is basically done. Just needs the last finishes which are ready to go, but my shop is holding me up (till first week november is what they say)

Anyways, when this project is done, someone about 3 hours away is selling their project. I am considering buying this and just putting a built carburated SBC and spraying the crap out of it. What do you kids think?

Well...looks like it needs a lil more than a sprayed smallblock...how bout some glass...but it could be some fun if the price is right. That rearend setup looks pretty meaty! Guess you'll be spending time over at www.maliburacing.com if you get it. As far as spraying though...spray is for bugs...drop a 572 BIG BLOCK in that baby with a TH400 and a 3200 stall...then go wake up the neighbors.

The price is right! haha my builder has been telling me go carb SBC and make big power. He swears by them but I know those big blocks give lots of torque and I would love to pull the wheels on the streets.

The guy is seelling it with all glass except the back end which I'm sure wouldn't be too hard to locate. I would need to sand blast the frame and cage and have it powdered. Next would be a medium paint job. I have a TH400 on the side of my house with a 3200 stall in it. All I need is the big HP motor to win some races.

What would you guys say If I told you he was only asking 5K OBO
