I ordered a set of 2" drop rear springs to get the rear of my Elky out of the air from Classic Performance Parts today. Also, on the advice of site member "Tommy", I ordered a set of air bags for the rear as well from Truckspring. The front springs were cut by the previous owner of the car and when I replaced the rears with stock ones a couple of years ago it put the rear a little to high for my taste. The drop springs should level it back out and give a nice lowered stance. My parts were shipped today and should be here by the middle of next week. CAN'T WAIT! _________________ Bobby

I always enjoy it when new parts are on the way ... however the suspense can be great.
I can't wait 'till it warms up a bit and I can get my Elky out!!! _________________ Bryan Shook

I love it when I get a box marked from Jeg's or J.C. Whitney or some other supplier of auto parts. Makes me feel all good and stuff! _________________ Home Site: http://www.elcaminoplace.com

FINALLY! I got the time to install my new 2" drop rear springs and Air Lift 1000 air bags. I must say that the difference is incredible. The springs put the rear exactly where I wanted it. The air bags will allow me to raise/lower the rear as needed. I have them set up so I can adjust the air pressure on each side independently of the other. Besides giving the car the stance I was looking for, this combination has really improved the handling characteristics. The ride is a little stiffer, but not at all uncomfortable. I'd like to thank site member "Tommy" for turning me onto the air bags & my buddy Dave with his help on the installation, not to mention his heated garage! _________________ Bobby
