the flowtech headers ...will they fit with an automatic transmission with the shift on the colum linkage part number 11102 or does the shift have to be on the floor.

Don't think you listed enough info like engine size and year. If this helps, I put a 72 corvette's 454 in my 80 and there is enough room....BARELY!

Its a 400 small block with a 700r4 ...inside of an 81 el camino..Hope that helps ..i already ordered a pair of flowtech shorties today from summit..so hopefully they do fit..
