I am in process of doing the reverse, and yes the front yoke of the driveshaft is interchangeable. Overall length of the two trannys is also the same, so the same driveshaft works. Crossmember will not work without modifications. _________________ 79 Caballero slowly becoming a Royal Knight.

Razor376, you're going backwards! Why would you want to go from 4 forward gears to only 3. If you're doing it because you think a TH350 is stronger, that's incorrect. A properly rebuilt 200R is just as strong. _________________ 1979 El Camino\r\n1955 Chevrolet Del Ray\r\n1962 Corvette\r\n1966 Corvette Coupe

I was going to go to the 350 cause I have a fresh 350 already with the Auto/ Manual kit in it and I figuired I would wind up with $ 1,000. or more in either getting a 700R or overhauling the 200R after all the modifications are done. I am open to any suggestions though cause I haven't started the change out yet . Thanks Ray
