Where to start?? that's always the question. Each person's unique circumstances leads to a different answer.

well some flowmasters and the K&N people have horse power filters that will help a little.

Along the lines of 80elcamino, make sure the engine can breath as best you can. I dont know if you need you A/C in NJ but take the belt off will help a tiny tiny bit. Same thing with the power steering.
