I need to replace the evaporator core on my 1979 Elky. Anyone know a good source for the evap core? Any special tips on replacement? _________________ 1979 El Camino\r\n1955 Chevrolet Del Ray\r\n1962 Corvette\r\n1966 Corvette Coupe
Easy to do. There is a lid covering the blower, condensor & heater core.
Both std. & metric are used. Be sure to remove the 2 hidden screws in the valley of the lid. _________________ Corvette Stingray 383

Thanks for your help. Bought a new evaporator core as I don't think it would be wise to install a used one. _________________ 1979 El Camino\r\n1955 Chevrolet Del Ray\r\n1962 Corvette\r\n1966 Corvette Coupe
