hi guys, i was reading here and noticed you mentioning a "sanden "compressor. mine is a factory style comp. that i bought rebuilt at pep boys. it is constantly cycling. what model sanden will be a direct replacement for a 1979? will it be just buy, install using all existing brackets and harware ,and refill?. thanks........

The brand of compressor will not cause cycling (short cycling??) the way you describe. Something else is causing it, but I don't know what it could be. There's some other guys on this forum who can give you a pretty good idea on what causes the cycling.
