1 - Chevrolet Division of GM
8 - 1968 model year
D - Doraville GA final assembly
177037 - Installed in the 77,037 full size car built at Doraville
T0522HN
T - Tonawanda Engine Plant
05 - May
22- day
HN - 1968 Full Size Chevy 327-250hp with power-glide trans, 4-bbl carb, RPO L73
These 327's engine in 1968 were at the end of the trail at Chevy. The 350 had come out in the Camaro and it was to replace the 327 as soon as they could get production ramped up to meet demand. So a 1968 327 is not the best candidate for hot-rodding. _________________ Mike
